My three year project/deathtrap is finally starting to take shape. I’m hoping to have it running shortly. I still need to work out a few things but after a complete frame-up rebuild, this 37 year-old lump is finally ready to breathe a healthy dose of 32:1 premix.
The carbs are sycned, the points are gapped to .04mm and the timing set to 1.8mm BTDC. I’ve checked and rechecked everything, but I’ll still be certain to have a fire extengisher close at hand when I jump on that kicker.
Bravo. I wish I had the technical know-how to attempt a project such as that. Someday, maybe.
